Remarkable Power and World-Class Luxury Place the 2020 Lincoln Aviator Above the Competition

Leave it to Lincoln to come out with a new SUV that redefines the genre. At Sill-TerHar Motors Lincoln in Broomfield, we stand up and take notice when our favorite luxury carmaker introduces an all-new model, and we're sure the 2020 Lincoln Aviator is going to make you stand up and take notice as well.

The new Lincoln Aviator is an impressive crossover no matter how you look at it. It has a maximum seating capacity for 8 people, an astounding 400-horsepower base engine, an available plug-in hybrid powertrain, and all the features for technology, safety, and comfort Denver and Boulder drivers could possibly want.

As the 2020 Lincoln Aviator joins the ranks of premium brand SUVs, it faces several competing models from other popular carmakers. At our Broomfield dealership, we've taken three of these competing models and compiled this side-by-side data for you, to demonstrate what sets our Lincoln SUV apart from the competition.

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator vs. the Jaguar F-Pace

  • Power and output. The base model Lincoln Aviator outpaces the base Jaguar, with 400 horsepower standard on the Aviator, compared to 247 horsepower on the F-Pace. The Jaguar has a few more engines available than the Lincoln, but none offer the cutting-edge efficiency and impressive power of the plug-in hybrid Aviator engine.
  • Technology. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator has more standard tech features than the Jaguar F-Pace as well. Every Aviator has standard navigation and Wi-Fi, as well as a long list of other exciting features, while all of these features are only available on upper trims for the Jaguar, not as part of the base model, entry-level trim package.

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator VS. The Audi Q5

  • Design and Space. The biggest difference between the Lincoln Aviator and Audi Q5 is, well, how big each respective luxury SUV is. The Lincoln Aviator is a three-row SUV while the Audi Q5 only has seating for five. Even with seating for two additional passengers, the Lincoln Aviator has more legroom for the front two rows, and the Lincoln Aviator is much more capable of transporting cargo as it has a max cargo space with over 24 cubic feet more of space than the new Audi Q5!
  • Safety Technologies. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator is especially impressive when you look at its many safety measures, which include the standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 package. This suite of driver-assist features has everything from a Blind-Spot Information System to a Lane Keeping System, neither of which come standard in the new Audi Q5. The Lincoln Aviator also has available safety systems, like Evasive Steering Assist, that aren't options in the Audi Q5.
  • Performance. The standard powertrain of the Lincoln Aviator is an engineering marvel. The 3.0-liter V6 of the Lincoln Aviator provides 400 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, which helps it tow up to 6,700 pounds, and a 10-speed automatic transmission keeps driving and acceleration smooth. The Audi Q5 comes standard with a 248-horsepower engine and 4,400-pound towing capacity that pales in comparison.
  • Comfort. The new Lincoln Aviator strives to make driving something you want to do, and providing comfort features and helpful tech is one way it does that. The Lincoln Aviator has features like massaging front seats, active parking assistant, and a phone-as-key function that make enjoying it and the open road simple. The new Audi Q5 doesn't offer any of those technologies at any trim level.

The 2020 Lincoln Aviator vs. the Mercedes-Benz GLC

  • Interior space. With three extra inches of front seat legroom, two extra inches of backseat legroom, and more headroom all around, you, and your passengers, will enjoy a more comfortable ride in the Lincoln Aviator than you would in the Mercedes-Benz GLC. Plus, while the Lincoln Aviator makes room for third row seating accommodations, it has a roomy cargo hold that measures nearly identical to in space to the two-row GLC.
  • Standard features. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator also has more features standard than the Mercedes-Benz GLC. In fact, the Lincoln comes with a long list of standard amenities that includes navigation, satellite radio, lane keeping assistance, and more. All of these features are only listed as optional for the Mercedes-Benz GLC and are only available through add-on packages.
