Performance Features

The Corsair is available with two turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The standard engine is a powerful and efficient 2.0-liter engine that will deliver 250 horsepower and a respectable 280 pound-feet of torque. The other option available to Denver area shoppers is a 295-horsepower 2.3-liter engine that is exclusively all-wheel drive. The car will not have a propeller shaft connecting the engine to the rear wheels.

For 2021, the Corsair will be available as a plug-in hybrid that can be switched to complete electric when required and also can be changed to be powered by gas alone. The 14.4-kWh battery, which charges in less than four hours, will allow Westminster drivers to go up to 25 miles on all-electric power.

Fuel Consumption

Just because the Corsair uses two turbocharged engines doesn't mean it has a high consumption rate. The base 2.0-liter front-wheel drive engine has an EPA-estimated consumption of 22 MPG while driving on Boulder city roads and 29 MPG on highways. Combined, Thornton drivers can expect an EPA-estimated combined fuel efficiency of 25 MPG. While using the 2.3-liter all-wheel drive engine, the vehicle can be expected to consume 30 MPG on the highway.

Interior Design and Space

The Corsair is designed with very plush interiors with very soft leather on the seats. Ambient interior lights can be adjusted to your desired color. The SUV will come with an app that can be unlocked, locked, and even started using your smartphone. The Corsair's cargo area is very spacious. You will be able to fit around eight regular suitcases behind the back seat. When you lower the back seat, the cargo area expands and can carry up to 21 standard size suitcases.

Connectivity and Infotainment

The Corsair is designed and fitted with an eight-inch touchscreen to run the vehicle's infotainment. Its interface is straightforward to use. There is an installed joystick on the car steering wheel. The joystick is for the driver to operate the infotainment, hence, not reaching for the screen that mostly causes distractions while driving. It also has an Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® automatic integration on all the models.

Driver-Assist and Safety Features

The NHTSA gave the Corsair a five-star rating while the IIHS named it the Top safety pick of 2020. All the Corsair models are shipped with the Lincoln Co-Pilot360™ standard driver-assist. You will be able to unlock high-tech driver-assist features, such as a self-parking feature, especially if you are in Denver with limited parking spaces and adaptive cruise control, which will require an update to the Co-Pilot360™ system. Critical driver-assist features include a lane keep assistance when leaving a lane, staying in one lane, automated emergency braking that can detect pedestrian, and adaptive cruise control.

Warranty and Maintenance

The Lincoln Corsair has a desirable offer on their warranty, which will cover four years or 50,000-miles, a powertrain warranty covering five years or 70,000-miles, and a no-fee scheduled maintenance plan.
